Born in Austin, Texas, Margaret Withers received her BA in Literature from Texas A&M; University in 2003. In 2004 she attended CU Boulder�s MFA program but did not matriculate, instead deciding to move to New York in 2006. Withers has shown extensively in New York City, around the US, and internationally in Vienna, Berlin, Brussels, Hong Kong and Moscow. Her work is included in multiple private collections and has won numerous awards, including a fellowship for Vermont Studio Residency in 2012 and the Millay Colony in 2013.
