Born in New York, Anthony DiPaola earned his Bachelors of Fine Art degree in painting from the School of the Visual Arts where he took classes by Peter Halley,Mary Heilmann, and Roni Horn among others. After earning his Masters of Fine Art degree in from Arizona State University, Anthony continued his studies in the Philosophy of Art earning an MA in 2008 at Stony Brook University. He has exhibited internationally in solo exhibitions at galleries in New York, Arizona, Washington DC, Bochum, and Kassel, Germany. Teaching and academic research in art and philosophy have consistently served as an important part of his practice. Anthony has held faculty positions at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology. Anthony currently teaches courses at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universit�t in Bonn, Germany.
