Standing Army. HQ Gallery Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY 05 Standing Army. 2007. Installation. Acrylic on 40 life size cardboard figures.
This was installed at HQ Gallery in September. It is an army made of post consumer cardboard boxes. The figures are based on poses featured in army recruiting propaganda. The arrangement of figures is based on the regimentation of the Chinese terracotta army.
