Deploying fragments of stories, parts of dramas, mindful of their socialconstruct, I see parody as an underlying structure. Existing in acontemporary state of certainty and doubt, with its many distractionsand multifarious inputs, I do my art as an attempt to make sense of itall. To create a space for speculation, a visual stimulus thatencourages the eye and mind to wander.

Of his work, a reviewer in ‘Art in America’ wrote: ‘He is a merry mockerof popular notions of the dark or shadow side of the psyche. . . .theyinvite our complicity in their on-canvas revolt against conventions.’
