It is estimated we see 3,000 ads per day. Fashion and sex are two main selling points and are used nonstop to convince us to buy products we can do without. – The collages are abstractions, separating the projected image of the product from the material being sold. The concentration of images multiplies the potency while removing unnecessary images (ie. the products and identities of spokespeople). |

In the first few series I sought to create a complete complete composition from incomplete forms. Originally based on a concept of 'architectual flesh' and the creation of a landscape with a fleshy physicality. The focus shifted towards complementary tones and the overall line definition of the piece as a whole. – The third and current series progresses along a more narrative path. Objects and literal architecture produce associations which interact and are perceived like distant memories.
