There are unknown forces in nature that drive us. The natural world serves as the spiritual purposes of art. Finding nature's elusive treasures in our surroundings guides many artists and their work. Even as �natural� or �landscape� compositions are usually thought of as representational art, countless fine art pieces are organic abstract art.

It can be a challenge to hold steady of your individual vision. I thrive on the challenge to compose a photograph that includes my surrounding elements, my personality and my creativity. As I look at the images together, they represent some of the different sides of my personality. Some are playful, some are serious, but all of them share an intimacy with each other because they are an expression of the desire in capturing images that hold true to my heart and vision. My photographs have shown me a different side to myself; revealing an artist whose vision is unique. This has challenged me and I am searching for a perspective that is deeper and more personal. Pulling back the curtains and revealing what�s inside is one of the biggest hurdles to overcome in any art medium.

Broken down then build up, conveying passion and thought via color, objects or symbols, abstract art allows the artist to use common threads that open a lively exchange of ideas, which are otherwise not composed. Once freed of the tyranny of surface and textures, substance and form, the artist can use the same to pursue poetic truth. Only then can the artist make the literal and uninterrupted renditions of the objects of the visual world.
