Videoing seemingly vacant and banal sites the resulting piece shows that things are never still. The artist pairs images together in a witty yet formal manner to engage the viewer using visual prompts. The work does not offer resolve or closure but takes us on a journery to non arrival.

Shot over a 3 month period these moving stills offer the viewer a glimpse of what occurs after dark in a small town where the obsence of people brings with it a certain anxiety.

Located outside the usual confines of the studio the artist responds to place through video, sound recordings and still photography to capture and document the often overlooked or discarded.
In an age when we seem obsessed with never having enough time, this work encourages us to slow down and quietly observe.
