Jennifer Formica is an artist living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut. She received her B.F.A. at the Hartford Art School in West Hartford, Connecticut and her M.F.A. at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. Her color photographs has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries throughout the United States, including the Hewlett Gallery at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; the Albright-Knox Gallery and the Burchfield-Penney Art Center in Buffalo, New York; and numerous galleries in New York City and Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

In addition she had a solo exhibition in Athens, Greece at the Monhoro Gallery in collaboration with Olga Georgantea Gallery which was part of the 7th International Month of Photography in Athens. Her color photographs has been published in two editions of, Exploring Color Photography, by Robert Hirsch, The William and Mary Review, and in Greek Magazines, Fotographia and Money & Life, she has also been a featured artist on www.Nowculture.com and Artists (Web) Space. Recently she was included in group exhibitions, “A Bestiary,” at 55 Mercer Gallery, New York, New York; “In the Face of Others,” at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, New York; “Essence: Matter / Science / Photography, “ at the State University of West Georgia, Carrollton, Georgia, which traveled to: Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia and Pace University Gallery, Pleasantville, New York. Her work is in the permanent collections of The Burchfield-Penney Art Center, Buffalo, New York; Anthos in Nafplion, Greece and the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, Brooklyn, New York..
