All my photos are done with a Sony digital camera. I alternate between my macro lens and my 50mm. They are between 5 to 8 mega pixels and can be blown up to poster size. The subjects are not altered using any type of software package. I try to use natural light and no flowers are cut or damaged while shooting the image. I also use natural backgrounds to represent the flowers true environment. – I use patterns and bold colors to grab people’s attention. Working with nature I have the advantage of showing people something they are used to seeing in a new light. Since we are a generation of busy people, we sometimes miss things that are right in front of our face. So I have taken on upon myself to show people the little things they are missing. As they say ‘you should stop and smell the roses‘.
