Using every medium available to express myself from working with found objects to short videos, often stealing from television and manipulating the intended message. I treat these stolen videos much in the same way as found objects in that I make them my own.

Sometimes doing something subtle such as inserting my voice and other times acting out the concept myself. The thought of taking an object or image and making it mine still excites me. I guess old habits never die and in some ways it has the same thrill as stealing a prized gem. Though with out the added chance of getting caught, the thrill trying the system is replaced with a more accepted forms of pushing the envelope.. Not an artist to paint a pretty picture but one who hopefully forces the viewer to look at an existing situation in a different way. Some times employing the tongue in cheek asking the question who is worse the artist or the viewer who secretly laughs. Receiving grants and fellowships from the Virginia Museum, New York Foundation of the Arts, Siegle Foundation and the O'Malley Travel Fund has allowed me to exhibit and perform in venues in Tokyo Japan, Istanbul Turkey, New York City and other cities in the United States. This and being part of the Microcinema Independent Exposure series that has exhibited my videos in four countries on three continents in 2002, is giving me the type of cross cultural exposure that excites. Rather than exhibiting to the same art crowd I see the world as my pallet!
