London based artist Irina Corduban's work explores the notion of freedom and challenges the viewers' perception to unveil an unexpectedly wide variety of association between the realm of perceptual reality and the sphere of imagination. In her recent Chickadees series Irina investigates about the elusive dichotomies between staticity and dinamism, geometry and freedom of shapes, revealing unexpected points of convergence between Tradition and Abstraction, that create a compelling aesthetics. One of the most convincing aspect of Irina approach is the way it condenses the permanent flow of associations in the realm of memory and experience.
