Known for his painstaking process of precise cut paper constructions,Adam Fowler's, pieces are intricate sculptural drawings. A recipient of the Krasner-Pollock Foundation grant, Fowler has exhibited work at the Museum of Arts and Design exhibition “Slash: Paper Under the Knife,” and in numerous group shows including exhibitions at The Vincent Price Museum, Los Angeles; the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro; and the 2005 Selections show at The Drawing Center, New York. His drawings were recently published in the Harvard Review. Reviews for Fowler’s drawings have been in The New York Times, The Village Voice, The San Francisco Chronicle and Sculpture Magazine. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, Fowler currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
