Program focus: Its main purpose is to give a platform for artists, curators, filmmakers, and musicians a place to present an idea they have been working on. Polished or Not.
By placing the work in such a setting It will focus on how the audience will be engaged away from the normal white cube and the juxtaposition of the site-specific Georgian home. The program will include evenings of music and expanded cinema practices, as well as the placement of how contemporary artist moving image fits within this current environment of today’s grand narrative.
Expensive and cost:
All expenses are on the Curator /Artist.
-Transportation, Framing, materials are not paid for by the space.
-email/FB invites will be sent to a group of approximately 2,000 on my current mailing list.
Limitations:
-Event / show/ performance / talks /happenings should be for one evening
-If the exhibition/show is longer then it will be appointment only and artist/curator will need to invigilate
-Be respectful of the next show and homeowners- no sawing through floors etc.
need to leave the space as it was found. - within reason(One can paint the walls if they feel it necessary)
-Piano stays in place.
