The New York Art Residency
and Studios (NARS) Foundation is pleased to announce its
second annual Emerging Curator Open Call. The Emerging Curator
Program offers an opportunity for a young-in-career curator to
present a group show at the NARS Foundation Gallery. The aim
of the program is to encourage new dialogue and to create a
platform for artists and curators to experiment and exchange
ideas.

The inaugural Angelika Open
is an open competition and exhibition inviting work from
artists in any medium. Work should be recent. Size limitations

independent, artist run, work and project
space.

We are looking to present
silent, short films that look at the history of moving image
development. The screening will illustrate works that explore
archaic images and methods of film making, looking at
repetition and pattern and artists who examine the

escarpment has remained an enduring source of artistic
inspiration for generations of artists. Our residency, the
only one in the country situated in the historic landscapes
which were the inspiration for the Hudson River School,

artists, working in a variety of disciplines, located in the
living landscape where American art

one month ComPeung AiR grants for 2012. ComPeung is located in Doi Saket,
Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand. Despite just being 20
