In August 2012 with MONGOLIA
360° the 2nd international Mongolian Land Art Biennial will be
take place in the very special location of Ikh GAZRIIN CHULUU
Gobi. A number of 20 international artists together with
Mongolian artists will be invited for a work residency in the
Gobi. During the residency artists have the opportunity to
realize side specific works.

Art, Diversity &
Intercultural Engagement is a 5 day long fully EU subsidised
course designed for art and education professionals. Course
Dates: 2-6 July, 2012. The course is designed to assist
educators, curators and professionals involved with migrant
and community programming to: develop new models and
approaches for dealing with challenges of bringing
contemporary audiences to art and bringing art to general
audiences in their own countries and
beyond.

Low Lives launches new
program in partnership with Occupy With Art and The
Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics. On March
3rd, 2012, Low Lives: Occupy! an international platform
designed to enable artists, audiences, and presenters in
alliance with the Occupy movement to support the occupation,
will transmit live performances, actions, and happenings
online as they occur in real time around the
world.

Ascension is an art show at
the Octagon gallery, Hackney on the theme of the
transformation of the ordinary into the celestial or
transcendent. Works submitted can take either a spiritual or a
non-religious interpretation of the theme. Artists are
invited to submit work by email or post. Works submitted
should be no bigger than 60 centimetres (24 inches) at their
longest dimension.

The Center offers an annual
prize for an unpublished manuscript presenting new research in
modern or contemporary art from 1780 to the present.
Preference is given to applicants whose research focuses on
subjects related to the Phillips's areas of collecting. The
winning author receives 5,000 USD, and his or her manuscript
will be published by the University of California Press as
part of a series of first books sponsored by the
Center.

to all artists, irrespective of nationality or
age.

De Ateliers, founded in
1963, is an internationally acclaimed studio program based in
Amsterdam. It offers a two-year residency program in
twenty-five spacious studios in a monumental building in the
center of Amsterdam. These are placed at the disposal of
beginning artists who wish to combine intensive
self-motivation with critical guidance of prominent artists:
Rob Birza, Angela Bulloch, Marlene Dumas, Chris Evans, Runa
Islam, Melvin Moti, Willem de Rooij, Bojan Sarcevic, Marien
Schouten, Fiona Tan, Didier Vermeiren and Marijke van
Warmerdam.
