FOR WHEN THE PLANET GETS HOT III is the third edition of an
international art video competition on Global Warming by
ARTPORT_making waves. After two successful editions, launched
at Scope Basel in 2007 and repeated at Focus Basel in 2009,
ARTPORT_making waves for the third edition collaborates with
CINEMA PLANETA, the award-winning International Environmental
Film Festival in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

CHARLIE SMITH
london is pleased to announce its inaugural juried exhibition
ANTHOLOGY, in association with THE MARK CLANNACHAN COLLECTION
and re-title.com. Selected and curated by internationally
respected art world professionals, ANTHOLOGY will be a multi
disciplinary exhibition that will reach out democratically to
artists worldwide. Presented at the CHARLIE SMITH london
gallery in Old St, London, the exhibition will be a key
barometer of emerging and established talent. Consisting of
ten finalists selected from all applicants, a cash prize of
£1,000 will be awarded by THE MARK CLANNACHAN COLLECTION to
one winner for outstanding merit.

The INPA is a
complementary project to the ongoing Drawing Annual (INDA).
The goal of the INPA is to support the recognition,
documentation, and publication of excellent, current, and
relevant works of painting from around the world. As carefully
designed high-end books, the INPA and INDA projects enable
Manifest to assemble a diverse array of works by international
artists, without the limitation of physical availability,
gallery space, or shipping logistics.

An
Assistant/Associate Curator executes all aspects of exhibition
development and implementation at the highest professional
standards, including research, writing, presentations,
budgeting, coordination, etc. Develops the collection, plans
and executes both temporary exhibitions and collection-based
exhibitions and projects, and organizes related programs with
a special emphasis on art by artists of African
descent.
Curatorial
Assistant | Media and Performance Art, MoMA, NYC
Assists senior
curatorial staff with acquisitions, collections records,
bibliographic and biographical records and files, research for
exhibitions and publications, departmental committees, loans,
and general curatorial inquiries. Performs work in relation to
care of the collections and expedites arrangements for
custodial, registration, and preparation work as required.
Performs the duties of exhibitions assistant including
research on subjects such as artists, periods, topics, styles,
specific works, locations of works, photograph sources,
etc.

searching for a full-time Senior Lecturer (non-tenure track
faculty, 1-3 year(s) appointment) beginning in the 2011 -2012
school year. The ideal candidate should have more than two
years college-level teaching experience, possess advanced
level B&W wet darkroom capabilities, and is able to teach
digital imaging and printing or a combination of the following
classes; alternative photographic processes, large format
photography, and/or studio lighting.

women artists in all mediums. SOHO2O Gallery Chelsea is a
non-profit artist run gallery that has been promoting the work

surfaces in relation to the transitory nature of reality,

International Art Workshop with Paul Graham, Spain

The Paul Graham
Workshop will be held between July 4th and 15th 2011, at the
Villa Iris space, in the coastal city of Santander, in
northern Spain. Applicants must be experienced in photography,
and have demonstrated a commitment and knowledge of the medium
over many years. This is not a workshop for beginners. Paul
Graham will select a maximum of 15 alumni and the workshop
will be conducted in English.
