artist/film makers Bus Stop Cinema, UK
This summer
will see the return of our hugely successful annual
international film festival which will take the form of BUS
STOP CINEMA. The elysium gallery premises is situated besides
one of Swansea's busiest bus stops and so the gallery will be
transformed into a cinema showing artists films throughout the
day and early evenings during August 2011 in what will be
Elysium gallery's 5th annual film festival.

Nalepastrasse is proud to announce a new art prize for
sculpture taking place in Berlin in June 2011. The prize in
the sum of 4,000 Euros will be given to one artist. The
Funkhaus in Nalepastrasse situated on the Spree bank was the
legendary communication station during the GDR and currently
is a center for the arts and multimedia.
3rd Sheffield
International Artist's Book Prize

The Sheffield
International Artist's Book Prize is a biennial, open
submission exhibition, held in conjunction with and as part of
the Off the Shelf Festival, which takes place in Sheffield
during the months of October and November. The Main Prize is
made up of cash and an exhibition at Bank Street Arts during
2012.

Artist-run
residency HMK {Hotel MariaKapel} invites artists to submit
proposals for our 2012 residency programme. HMK {Hotel
Mariakapel} is an artist-run residency and project space in
Hoorn, a 15th century town by the IJsselmeer, just 40 km north
of Amsterdam. In the old center of the town, in a medieval
orphanage with a semi public inner garden and Maria Chapel,
HMK receives artists from all over the world.

Portsmouth invites applications for the Art Space Portsmouth
International Residency 2011. The residency is aimed at
emerging fine artists with some experience of professional
practice who may have had limited exposure in the UK and whose

international art world. The ASP International Residency is
open to European Union Nationals as well as artists from the
European Economic Area.

group of artists is promoting the international competition
"Diogene urbanbivouac", open to international artists. The
"Diogene urbanbivouac" Residency project is the result of a
joint effort by a group of artists. They share their ideas
concerning the relationship between art and society, the role
of the artist, and art as a form of knowledge. They also make
themselves available to other artists, thus activating a
shared collaboration with them.
Dieu Donné -
Workspace Residency Program, New York

1990, the Workspace Program provides annual residencies to New
York State emerging artists to create new work in handmade
paper. The program encourages emerging artists to explore the
creative possibilities inherent in the hand papermaking
process, to develop this medium as a contemporary art form,
and also promote the work produced in
residency.
International
Residency Program at The Darling Foundry, Montreal
Deadline: June

The
International Residency at the Darling Foundry is supported by
the Canada Council for the Arts. The program supports foreign
visual artists from outside of Canada. One residency of six
months will be awarded. The schedule of the residency is from
the beginning of January 2012 to the end of June 2012. The
resident artist will receive a grant amount of 23,000 CDN
which contributes towards travel, subsistence, and production
costs.
