Festival: Call for Tenders, Vienna

April 2011 fullframe presents a selection of current film and
video art in a program with the duration of 100 minutes at the
screen of the Vienna Gartenbaukino. 16mm, 35mm,
video-projections and a live-act will be shown. The program
consists of films and videos, which are of museum quality or
are customarily displayed in galleries.

About 12
years ago we made our first call for entries in search for
artists' videos and short films. It was the beginning of home
videos and affordable video cameras. During exhibitions, these
films were shown on a TV screen or in a screening. They were
simple stories, filmed performances, still shots. Now these
films represent a body of 12 thematic programs and include
about 100 films screened by the Brigade des Images in France
and abroad.
