Phonurgia Nova awards 2010, France

Among the prizes awarded for radio and acoustic art, the Phonurgia Nova competition has, since 1986, occupied a special place by virtue of its recognition of artists whose work exploits sound as a medium for expressing the real and the imaginary. The contest is open to all radio station formats and to all authors, independant radio producers, musicians, composers, sound artists and production teams.

The Roberto Cimetta Fund has set up a programme for awarding individual travel grants. These cover travel and visa costs for trips such as attending professional cultural network meetings, workshops, artist's residences, symposiums etc.

Akademie Schloss Solitude Stuttgart Fellowship 2011-2013

Fellowships are awarded to artists who finished their basic studies not more than five years before applying to Akademie Schloss Solitude or who are not older than 35. University or college students will not be considered for selection. The Akademie Schloss Solitude fellowship is a residence fellowship. It is expected that the fellows spend at least two-thirds of their residency at Akademie Schloss Solitude.

The UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for Artists promote the mobility of young artists in order to enrich their personal perspectives, to enable them to engage in an intercultural dialogue and expose them to cultural diversity. The Programme offers residencies to young artists (between 25 and 35 years old) worldwide. These residencies are catalysts for the development of artistic expression in all cultures of the world.
