17th International Contemporary Art Festival
SESC_Videobrasil Deadline: October 29,
2010With significant shifts in focus and
scope, reflected in a new name, the 17th International
Contemporary Art Festival SESC_Videobrasil opens enrolment for
two different modalities of selection and prizes. Starting
with this edition, the Southern Panorama competitive
exhibition will accept work of various natures: video,
installation, performance, printed objects, and other artistic
experiments produced from May 2009 onwards by visual artists
born in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Southeast Asia,

Contemporary Arts (LICA) at Lancaster University is currently
seeking art or design-led proposals for a prestigious £10,000
award to create an artwork for the new LICA eco-building on
campus.The LICA building is being constructed to the BREEAM
'outstanding' standard, and will be the first Higher Education
building in the UK to reach such strict environmental targets

for experimentation. The street-level space is open to the

Artists Unlimited: Artists Residency,
Germany Deadline: 1 October,
2010Guest Artist opportunity to live and
work at Artists Unlimited e.V, Bielefeld Germany, for 3
months. The Residency includes a solo exhibition and monthly
living grant of Euros 550, to buy food and materials. They do
not pay for any travelling expenses. One of the conditions of
the residency is that every guest artist makes an exhibition

Foundation supports education and training within the fields
of social science research, the arts and culture. It does this
through its annual Research Award for an outstanding thesis or
