another, discovering common issues and working methods. The
creative, imaginative processes in the arts and sciences are
similar, whereas the concrete realisation of their results
tends to differ. Repeatedly, this difference is the source of
productive tension and areas of friction. This competition

scientists to work between the priorities of the arts or

New Media Prize - Poole Literary Festival,

Poole Literary Festival is delighted to announce their
partnership with The Media School at Bournemouth University to
establish a Prize for New Media Writing. The prize will allow
writers working with New Media to showcase their skills,
provoke discussion and raise awareness of new media writing

Light: CCA Moving Image Commissions,

CCA is commissioning four films with
budgets of £5,000 and two films with budgets of £10,000 from
artists based in Scotland. CCA operates as a hub for the local
artistic community and aims to establish a broader profile in
the general cultural life of the city through offering
exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, performance and a wide
spectrum of opportunities for people to participate in the

artist/designer/maker to research and develop proposals for
public space in Shaftesbury, with the Shaftesbury Civic
Society and the local community. The key themes of the project
are local heritage, common space and future sustainability.
The fee for the research and development stage is £5,000

Romania Deadline: May 30th,
2010The George Enescu National Museum
(Bucharest), together with the Dumitru and Alice Rosetti -
Tescanu - George Enescu Department (Tescani, Bacau) and The
Museum of Art Bacau, invite artists from all countries,
including Romania, to apply for the International Painting
Camp - Tescani 2010 : August 1 - 20 th, 2010. The host
institution will provide during the camp (20 days) the
complete accommodation, including food and working materials,
for 6 selected artists.

The Darling Foundry Residency,
Quebec Deadline: 1st June,
2010The Darling Foundry, located in Old
Montreal (Quebec, Canada), is an alternative visual arts
complex with an outstanding architectural design. The Darling
Foundry provides opportunities for research, creation,
production, and exhibition. One residency of six months will
be awarded. The resident artist will receive a grant amount of
$23,000 CDN which contributes towards travel, subsistence, and

time. These are usually obvious for a number of reasons
including poor language, bad grammar, lack of detailed contact
info, etc, but most importantly they are too quick to
discuss the buying of works and shipping costs.
At

approaches.
To help us control the abuse of re-title.com, it is

We can quickly see if there is pattern
emerging ( e.g. The abuser starts to work through the
