London International Creative Competition
Deadline: 30 June, 2010
Submit your innovative works of art for inclusion in the London International Creative Competition. Your work is juried by a board of internationally esteemed artists, writers, curators, gallery owners and other luminaries of the visual arts. The jury-selected finalists and shortlist will be published in the LICC Annual Awards Book, on the website and announced to the creative arts and media outlets worldwide. The 15 finalists works will be presented at the LICC awards ceremony in London and one prize-winner chosen by the jury will receive the 2,000 pounds cash prize.

Festival of Regions 2011, Austria

Since 1993, every two years the festival has been reconnoitring and conquering a region or a locality in Upper Austria. Away from the metropolises and cultural centres, a program offering contemporary art and culture for the residents of the chosen region is shaped and communicated. Project proposals from all artistic disciplines and genres are welcome. Art in public space and site-specific works will be a focus because of the locality's structure. Twelve Scholarships at Low-Residency MFA Program

TWELVE SCHOLARSHIPS were announced today by Transart Institute, to be awarded to students of the new MFA Creative Practice program offered in partnership with the University of Plymouth in the UK. Two Transart Institute Developing Country Scholarships, four 2-year achievement scholarships and six 2-year merit scholarships will be awarded. The scholarships provide a reduction in tuition from 10 to 50%
