Ode to a Local
Hero: The Juice Man, Palestine Deadline: 7 May,
2010The stereo-typical image of
Palestinians, is that of a young man in a kufiya covering his
face throwing rocks. Palestinian Art most often is themed in
the current situation of the Occupation, political unrest and
the "struggle." Rightfully so, these themes are important to
show the world what is happening here. However we would like
to take a new approach and make an exhibition that focuses on
the day-to-day life in Palestine and the local people that
live here. Read On
Open Call for Guest Artists turn-berlin
Gallery Berlin-Mitte Deadline: 10th May
2010
The theme of this show is the things
we share outside the literal narrative. Recognizing the less
defined conclusions, feeling the space of the inner
boundaries. Soft Confines are the hardest to define, they need
to be felt and not known. Discovering the self imposed limits,
not the inflicted confines. Logic will only dissipate the
knowledge of what is true. Capturing the transient illusion in
drawing, photography, print or paint is the essence of this
exhibition. Read On

Artist members of re-title.com, and other sites should be
aware that they may receive fraudulent approaches from time to
time. These are usually obvious for a number of reasons
including poor language, bad grammar, lack of detailed contact
info, etc, but most importantly they are too quick to
discuss the buying of works and shipping costs.
At
re-title.com we offer a verification service to artist members
so that they may avoid replying to fraudulent
approaches.
To help us control the abuse of re-title.com, it is
important that you forward to us any email you consider
suspicious or feel unsure about. (Please first check to
see if we have sent a Fraud Alert out).
We can quickly see if there is pattern
emerging ( e.g. The abuser starts to work through the
site from A-Z ) and alert the other members and fraud alert
subscribers.
