commission. Artists are asked to envision permanent artwork
that will be seen by tens of thousands of pedestrians,
shoppers, residents, motorists and SEPTA riders commuting

Commissions at Kew Gardens,
UK Deadline: 26
February, 2010Festivals at RBG Kew is
commissioning up to 6 large-scale sculptures and/or multiples
of sculptures in small or medium scale. This installation in
the Princess of Wales Conservatory will explore plants and
their pollinators: ants, beetles, humming birds, flies, bats
and their interesting, unusual and unbelievable stories.

Light is the theme around which all the exhibitions, the
publication, the colloquium and other activities of Le Mois de
la Photo à Montréal 2011 will be organized. The event, which
will form a fascinating exploration of light - the very
essence of photography - will take place from September 8 to
October 9, 2011. Spectral Light will address the spectral or
ghostly character of photography, and the place of light in
the technological, conceptual and philosophical evolution of

GLOW manifests from a
winters hearth of cinematic program and ambient installation
in Berlin, to a new program exploring the rite of Spring's
luminescence and life. In this latest incarnation of GLOW,
curators Adam Nankervis, Gillian Morris and founder and
initiator of GLOW, Leo Kuelbs invite video and new media
artists to respond in both narrative form and ambient
installation dialogues in form of radiant bursts found within

ProgramCentralTrak is located in Dallas'
historic Deep Ellum neighborhood near the heart of downtown.
The program provides 4 visiting artists with a loft studio
live/work space for the duration of their residency, which can

aware that they may receive fraudulent approaches from time to
time. These are usually obvious for a number of reasons
including poor language, bad grammar, lack of detailed contact
info, etc, but most importantly they are too quick to
discuss the buying of works and shipping costs.
At

approaches.
