NYC Deadline: December 15,
2009This competition is an opportunity to
create your own temporary apexart in your city. For a
four-week exhibition from March 13 - April 17, 2010, you will
be the director and/or curator and/or staff of your own
apexart franchise with a budget, a salary, and complete
control. We will provide up to 10,000 USD in funding, along
with the necessary guidance to make your curated exhibition
happen, including an apexart brochure in an edition of 10,000
and its distribution. In addition, prior to your show, we'll
arrange to bring you to NYC for three days, all expenses paid,

Commission, Scotland Deadline: 23
November 2009 Fee: £4,500. Spring Fling,
Scotland's premier open studios event, will take place across
Dumfries and Galloway from 29 to 31 May 2010. As part of the
event, the organisers are looking to commission a one-off
public art work at Craigieburn, a Nepalese-themed garden

workshops in international MFA program, Transart Institute,
Berlin
Transart Institute seeks artists to
teach a 20 unit interdisciplinary creative workshop and give
critiques in a low-residency MFA Program for one week bewteen
July 25 and August 14, 2010 in Berlin, Germany. Workshops
address development of artistic praxis rather than training in
specific media and authoring tools, challenging students to
think conceptually and work creatively in new ways. Students
respond to workshop assignments in a variety of media, working
independently between classes. Graduate level teaching

aware that they may receive fraudulent approaches from time to
time. These are usually obvious for a number of reasons
including poor language, bad grammar, lack of detailed contact
info, etc, but most importantly they are too quick to
discuss the buying of works and shipping costs.
At

so that they may avoid replying to fraudulent
approaches.
