the 13th annual Postcard Show. For this open-invitational
exhibition, artists are encouraged to submit small format
multiples-whether that be a series of hand-made paintings or a
stack of production run postcards. The Postcard Show
challenges artists to stretch the parameters of media and
conceptual strategies by doing what they do best-subverting

Artists of all disciplines will gather in LOS ANGELES,
CALIFORNIA for a one day creative event - 1 DAY OF ART. In
this premier (t)here magazine concept - photographers,
writers, visual artists and musicians will participate in an
undisclosed editorial assignment. On the evening of FRIDAY,
NOVEMBER 6, 2009 at 9pm, our participants will gather in one
location where they will randomly draw their assigned subject.
Their subsequent content must be executed in one day. All
files and relevant materials are due at 9pm on SATURDAY,
NOVEMBER 7, at a location to be determined.

young artist for studies abroad. The Jean-Claude Reynal
Foundation, under the auspices of the Foundation of France, in

annual grant of 10,000 euros to enable a young artist, who
works directly on paper, to travel to a country of his/her

Artist members of re-title.com, and other sites should be
aware that they may receive fraudulent approaches from time to
time. These are usually obvious for a number of reasons
including poor language, bad grammar, lack of detailed contact
info, etc, but most importantly they are too quick to
discuss the buying of works and shipping costs.
At
re-title.com we offer a verification service to artist members
so that they may avoid replying to fraudulent
approaches.
To help us control the abuse of re-title.com, it is
important that you forward to us any email you consider
suspicious or feel unsure about. (Please first check to
see if we have sent a Fraud Alert out).
We can quickly see if there is pattern
emerging ( e.g. The abuser starts to work through the
site from A-Z ) and alert the other members and fraud alert
subscribers.
