The artist's anonymity can be lifted by means of purchasing a drawing for the symbolic unit sales price of 150 EUR.

ARTISTS WITHOUT STUDIOS PRIZE : Ben Uri Gallery: London Jewish Museum of Art

Ben Uri is delighted to announce a new competition for young artists, providing them with a residency and a public exhibition of the resulting work. This summer, the gallery will divide its exhibition space into a number of discrete artists' 'studios', allowing up to four young artists the time and space to work on a project. Ben Uri will be open to the public from 2-5.30pm during this time and so the artists can work uninterrupted in the mornings and will be encouraged to engage with visitors and explain their practice during their work in the afternoons.

Art Space Portsmouth invites applications for the ASP International Residency 2009. The residency is aimed at emerging fine artists with some experience of professional practice who may have had limited exposure in the UK and whose work is engaged with contemporary debate within the international art world. The selected artist will reside in Portsmouth for a period of 3 months between September and December 2009.
