"Suitcase Series" at TOTALKUNST
Gallery, Edinburgh, UK TotalKunst is a
lively artist-run gallery in te heart of Edinburgh. We are
inviting proposals for our ongoing gallery project "Suitcase
Series" that plays with notions of distance, space, location,
interpretation and interaction. The work consists of
instructions sent to us for altering or otherwise using the
gallery space, which we will undertake, set up and interpret
according to the parameters set by you. We will produce
documentation of this process that will then be sent back to
you. We will also cover all publicity for your

2009QUAD invites artists, poets and
writers to submit original text-based compositions for
exhibition on the non-gallery walls of QUAD during the period
9th May - 26th Jun 2009. We are looking for text-based works
in the form of Japanese Haiku poetry that will be shown on the
non-gallery walls in QUAD, including corridors, stairwells,
and landings throughout the building. The theme we would like

2009Rhoma Gallery is inviting all the
artists interested in exposing visual, audio or performative
work for the 2009-2010 cycle of exhibitions in our gallery
space and other creative venues. Our intention is to impact
with fresh, pertinent and well-thinked works, collaborations
and approaches, giving creative license to the artists to
transform our gallery space of three floors founded in center
of the island. Interested artists can submit their visual and
biographical material to be consider by our personnel. Also we

workspace residency, Center for Photography at Woodstock,

WOODSTOCK A-I-R is a workspace residency
program designed to support artists of color working in the
photographic arts who reside in the United States with access
to time, facilities, financial, critical, and technical
support. This activity is created with an emphasis on
supporting artists working in the photographic arts who are at
the brink of their careers and promising talent.This year from
June - August 2009, CPW will host 4 residencies for artists of
color and 1 "critical studies residency" for a curator/critic
of color. Residents receive 24/7 access to CPW's workspace
facilities (including black-&-white darkroom, digital
imaging & printing lab and library), critical and
technical support, stipend for food and travel, and honoraria.
In addition, CPW extends participants opportunities in
exhibition and publication to residents. Read

2009Artists based in the West Midlands
region are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity to
spend three months at Het Wilde Weten in Rotterdam. The
selected artist will be provided with accommodation and studio
space, travel expenses and a living allowance of £3400. The

urban planning and environmental design for a residency at the
British School at Rome (BSR). Two residencies are available
for between three and nine months. Such residencies offer a
valuable opportunity to develop and research work within the
