Artadia is now accepting applications for the inaugural Artadia Awards 2009 from all visual artists living and working in Greater Atlanta (23-county area). Individual artists and collaboratives working in all media and at any point in their career are strongly encouraged to apply. Awardees will be selected in early 2009 through Artadia's two-tiered jury process.

tank.tv is inviting submissions from artists who wish to be considered for two week solo exhibitions on tank.tv. In 2009 tank.tv will be hosting an ambitious series of solo shows from established and emerging artists working with the moving image. The UnScene Photography Tour and 944 Magazine are looking for San Diego's and Scottsdale's emerging photographers and "unscene" images of their cities. During special one-night-only gallery events at the W San Diego and the Mondrian Scottsdale, five finalists from each city will showcase 10 of their best shots while competing for a chance to make it to the finals.

 2009 Residency Season at the Artists' Enclave at I-Park, CT

I-Park announces its ninth season hosting The Artists' Enclave. Artists' residencies, self-directed/project oriented, will be offered from May through November 2009, with possible off-season sessions in April and December. Most sessions are four weeks in duration. Residencies will be offered to visual (including digital) artists, music composers, environmental artists, landscape and garden designers, creative writers and architects. Work samples will be evaluated through a competitive, juried process.
