Collective
Exhibitions
The jury will select 110
finalists who will show their artworks at the Arsenale of
Venice in March 2012.
Another collective
exhibition, dedicated to under 25 artists, will take palce at
the Institute of Romanian Culture of Venice.
The winning artworks will
remain property of the artists and will be collected in a
bilingual catalogue.
A new competition section: VIRTUAL
ART
FOPE, jewelery company from
Vicenza, supports art through new technologies and promotes
the new section Virtual Art, dedicated to artworks entirely
created using COMPUTER or applications for SMARTPHONE and
TABLET. The winner, besides the money prize, will collaborate
with the company in a creative project.
A NETWORK OF
OPPORTUNITIES
Through its six editions, the
Arte Laguna Prize has established a strong network of local
and international collaborations with Foundations, Museums,
Festivals, more than fifty art galleries and many companies
which have decided to participate actively in the creation of
specific projects. The network keeps growing building new
opportunities for the artists.
Business for Art
The Arte Laguna Prize
connects the world of art to the one of companies, creating
each year a different collaboration.
This year the company
STILE original design of Brescia offers a
money prize of 8,000 EUR and will develop an art project
with the selected artist.
International
Festivals
Participation in
international festivals: Open in Venice and
Tina B in Prague will choose one artist each,
who will participate in one of their international events in
2012.
