Total amount of the prize: 170,000 EUR
The Award includes: 5 money prizes of 7,000 EUR each, art residences, solo exhibitions in art galleries, collaborations with companies, participation in international festivals and collective exhibitions.

Participation: the contest is open to all artists, without any limit of age, the topic is free

Collective Exhibitions
 
 
Arsenale di Venezia will host the Collective Exhibition
 
 
The jury will select 110 finalists who will show their artworks at the Arsenale of Venice in March 2012.
Another collective exhibition, dedicated to under 25 artists, will take palce at the Institute of Romanian Culture of Venice.
The winning artworks will remain property of the artists and will be collected in a bilingual catalogue.
 
 
A new competition section: VIRTUAL ART
 
 
NEW SECTION OPEN: VIRTUAL ART
 
 
FOPE, jewelery company from Vicenza, supports art through new technologies and promotes the new section Virtual Art, dedicated to artworks entirely created using COMPUTER or applications for SMARTPHONE and TABLET. The winner, besides the money prize, will collaborate with the company in a creative project.
 
 
A NETWORK OF OPPORTUNITIES
 
Through its six editions, the Arte Laguna Prize has established a strong network of local and international collaborations with Foundations, Museums, Festivals, more than fifty art galleries and many companies which have decided to participate actively in the creation of specific projects. The network keeps growing building new opportunities for the artists.
 
Business for Art
The Arte Laguna Prize connects the world of art to the one of companies, creating each year a different collaboration.
This year the company STILE original design of Brescia offers a money prize of  8,000 EUR and will develop an art project with the selected artist.
 
International Festivals
Participation in international festivals: Open in Venice and Tina B in Prague will choose one artist each, who will participate in one of their international events in 2012.
 
Art Residences Program
 
Loft Miramarmi – Vicenza marble district: 3 months for 3 artists
this residence will establish a real creative laboratory for the creation of artistic works and projects
 
Glass School Abate Zanetti – Venice: 1 month for 1 artist
workshops with master glass masters of Murano, creation of the project presented during the application and final exhibition
 
Art Stays - Slovenia at the International Festival of Contemporary Art: 7 days for 1 artist
development of a project that will be presented in a personal exhibition during the Festival.
 
Carlo Zauli Museum - Faenza city of ceramics: 1 month for 1 artist
creation of a personal project with ceramic, that will be presented in a final exhibition
 
iaab – Basel: 5 months for 1 artist
the artist will be full time involved in iaab activities with the aim of developing a personal project
