Salon09 (
www.salon09.co.uk) is an
ambitious open submission exhibition, which creates a platform
for international creative practitioners at all stages of
their careers, to present their work to a range of influential
and prominent art experts based in the UK. The exhibition will
take place in September 2009 at a project space in the
internationally renowned Vyner Street in East London.
This year we are introducing a Selectors' Prize
of £1000, and the John Jones Award for
Contemporary Painting, which will consist of 12
months support towards professional development, a monetary
prize of £500 and a £200 bursary for John Jones
services.

Over the past two years the annual Salon exhibitions have
included 146 artists and received 1800 visitors. The Salon is
produced by Matt Roberts Arts, a
not-for-profit organisation based in south London, dedicated
to supporting the professional development of artists, and
creative practitioners. Please see examples of previous work

£8 for British based practitioners, and £10 for practitioners
