A new era of collecting: Independent
Collectors.
When
we started one year ago, we didn't know if collectors would
want to become members of Independent Collectors. Now that we
know that they do, how should we continue?
We decided to go for it full force:
Independent Collectors will continue to provide you, the
collectors of contemporary art, with the necessary tools to
get in contact with like-minded people on a global level, to
share your collections, to exchange insights and to discuss
art and the market.
And we invite you to help unlock the world of
contemporary art and collecting for a wider audience:
Our members already have made Independent Collectors the
world's largest online exhibition of privately owned pieces of
contemporary art, works that would otherwise be hidden in
private storage rooms, largely unavailable to the
public.
If you collect contemporary art and aren't
registered yet, we invite you to join Independent Collectors
for free. Over 2.200 collectors are looking
forward to meeting you, to discuss art or maybe even argue
with you about it, both online and in real life. And millions
of art enthusiasts are looking forward to be able to see your
very personal collection, to find out what you love about the
pieces you own and to be inspired to become collectors
themselves.
