EVERYTHING READY FOR ZsONAMACO 2011

The ZsONAMACO México Arte Contemporáneo fair will be held once more in Centro Banamex, Hall D, in Mexico City from April 6 to 10, 2011, organized by Cultura y Arte Contemporáneo Zeta S.A. de C.V.

The Selection Committee for the 8th edition of the fair is composed by Patricia Ortiz Monasterio & Jaime Riestra of OMR (Mexico) for the Main section; Daniel Roesler of NARA ROESLER (Brazil); Thomas Krinzinger of KRINZINGER PROJEKTE (Austria); Silvia Ortiz & Inés López Quessada of TRAVESIA CUARTO (Spain) and Carolyn Alexader of ALEXANDER AND BONIN (U.E.), Pablo León de la Barra of the selection committe will be in charge of The New Proposal section. The over Ninety galleries selected are divided into a Main Section, destinated to consolidated galleries in 40,60,80 and 120m2 areas, and the New Proposals section, dedicaded to young galleries representing emerging artists in 20m2 stands.

Also, this year, the fair will have a space dedicated to design and it will have a selection committee composed by Ana Elena Mallet (Curator), Enrique Norten (Architect) and Moises Micha (Hotel Businessman), this new section will represent the new trends in the national and international design field.

For the third consecutive year the ZONAMACO SUR section will be in charge of the well-known curator Adriano Pedrosa, who will select 20 galleries which will represent contemporary artists from the southern hemisphere that will present an individual project specially thought up for the fair.

GALLERY LIST

The Main Section will host galleries with more than five years of experience that meet the standards of quality as determined by the Selection Committee. Booths in this area afford a variety of dimensions: 40, 60, 80 or 120 square meters.
