| BACKGROUND
Founded in 2007, CHRISTIAN FERREIRA opened FERREIRA PROJECTS, a temporary project space in Shoreditch. Working with emerging British and international artists as well as curators, the space presented a challenging program of exhibitions together with a residency program. In 2010 CHRISTIAN FERREIRA moved into the Accumulator Tower of the Wapping Hydraulic Power Station. CHRISTIAN FERREIRA presents large-scale, site specific installations by contemporary artists. In 2011 CHRISTIAN FERREIRA will open a dedicated film/video space on the grounds of The Wapping Hydraulic Power Station.
