Jake Berthot in “Arte Povera bis Minimal” at the Museum Wiesbaden

Currently on exhibit at the Museum Wiesbaden, located near Frankfurt, Germany, is a group show “Arte Povera bis Minimal”, which includes 3 paintings by Jake Berthot from the 1970’s: “Corrister Squad”, “Savle”, and “Susquehanna”.  The exhibition will be on view through January 31, 2010. 


New Print by Joan Snyder

Tandem Press recently published a print by Joan Snyder, completed by the artist in anticipation of her print retrospective at the Zimmerli Art Museum in New Brunswick, NJ.  “Dancing with the Dark: Prints by Joan Snyder 1963 – 2010” will open in late January 2011 and will remain on view through May 29, 2011.


Mia Westerlund Roosen at the LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton, Long Island
Currently on view at the LongHouse Reserve is Mia Westerlund Roosen’s “Battenkill”.  The concrete sculpture, from 2008, measures 5 x 16 x 28 feet and was installed at Thomas Paine Park in lower Manhattan in late 2008.  LongHouse Reserve is located in East Hampton, NY.  Additional information can be found by visiting
