BEERS.LAMBERT CONTEMPORARY ART

BEERS.LAMBERT CONTEMPORARY ART is a curatorial firm and gallery initiative founded in 2008 that specializes in international emerging artists. Through their continued work with international emerging artists, they exhibit and celebrate emerging international artists. Through emergent artists, Beers.Lambert believes that relevant ideas in progressive contemporary art might be explored, exciting new trends disclosed and truths revealed. Beers.Lambert collaborates with artists from around the world whose practice speaks to a diverse array of thematic, aesthetic, and political concepts, predominating an exciting approach to their chosen practice. As a gallery resource and curatorial initiative, Beers.Lambert is dedicated to the exploration and dissemination of emergent and progressive contemporary art.

Icelandic nature is prominent in Eliasson's work, and his artistic relationship with it often involves collection or documentation that is scientific in tone. The country becomes a sensory laboratory where ideas can be developed and evolved into art, as evidenced in the multiple photographic series that would seem to witness a near compulsive need for collecting.

It's not about an ambiance or concept; it's about being real. Not realism, but real?ero-real. I have to say it straight. It's not about nudity; clothed subjects can be erotic.
