Gallery Statement
Galerie Stefan Roepke was founded in 1993 in Cologne, Germany representing an international roster of artists who contribute to the dialogue between the traditions of painting, sculpture, and photography and the innovative concepts and techniques that push their boundaries. The gallery also presents the works of contemporary masters to give context to the works of the gallery artists and to be able to visually present the dialogues and influences of contemporary art today.
The gallery produces an average of six exhibitions a year, and publishes catalogues for the artists in conjunction with their shows on a regular basis. In addition, the gallery has achieved an international following by participating in numerous art fairs around the world. The gallery also maintains relationships with numerous museums and foundations in order to further expose the artists.
You can visit us in 2009 at the following fairs: Arte Fiera Bologna, Pulse New York, Art Cologne, Hong Kong International Art Fair and Pulse Miami.
