BLEU ACIER Inc

As a gallery, Bleu Acier exhibits works in all disciplines by emerging, mid-career and established artists from the US and Europe. As a publisher, Bleu Acier collaborates with artists on limited editions and multiples that possess the strength and drive of their work in other media. These often very rare editions integrate the overall vision of the artist's oeuvre.

Atelier Bleu Acier, a collaborative and contract studio owned and operated by Erika Greenberg-Schneider, supports the following techniques in printmaking: Intaglio, Photogravure, Lithography, Photolithography, Relief and Monotype. As a collaborative Master Printer, she has worked with artists such as Matta, Dubuffet, Pierre Alechinsky, Dominique Labauvie, Max Neumann, Bernar Venet, Beverly Pepper, Georg Baselitz, Chuck Close, Paula Scher, Sylvie Eyberg, Jovi Schnell and Robyn Voshardt/Sven Humphrey.

Greenberg-Schneider lived and worked in France for 20 years, becoming a Master Printer in Intaglio and Lithography for Atelier Franck Bordas, and then Director and Master Printer of the Gallery Maeght print studios in Paris and St. Paul. She also served as a consultant and faculty member to the City of Paris for their experimental art school based on Thierry De Duve's philosophy "Faire Ecole." Motivated by her desire to share knowledge across disciplines, she has taught regularly at the university level. Upon returning to the United States in 1998, she was Master Printer of Intaglio at USF/Graphicstudio and a Visiting Professor in Drawing and Printmaking at USF Tampa. She is currently a Visiting Professor in the Graphic Design Program at USF St. Petersburg.
