London, 9th July 2008 – Peter Quintana and the Partners of Oc-Eo Art, a fine art company specialising in contemporary and modern Asian art, announced today that they will mount an exhibition and sale of modern and contemporary paintings from Vietnam and China at the newly opened Eaton Terrace Gallery, 40 Eaton Terrace, London SW1W 8TS. Entitled ‘Hidden Charms’, the exhibition will be on show from Monday 14 July to Saturday 2 August, and will feature a selection of young and established artists from Vietnam as well as exciting new Chinese talent He Hong Wei, whose inaugural London solo exhibition at Gallery27, 27 Cork Street, London W1 closes this week. Peter Quintana, founder of Oc-Eo Art said ‘I am delighted to be able to present paintings from both Vietnam and China in the same show. For the first time in London, we can not only see clearly the melting pot of eastern and western influences, but also contrast the way in which the traditions and recent history of the world’s two fastest growing economies has influenced their artists. With contemporary art prices not just holding but rising at auction, this is a fantastic opportunity to acquire some of the best value fine art in the world today.’ A private view and reception for VIPs, collectors and enthusiasts will be held from 18.00hrs to 21.00hrs on Thursday July 17, 24 and 31. The exhibition will be open Thursday-Saturday 12-6pm and by appointment at all other times.
