(mobile minaret, Porrentruy), Harald Reichenbach 2010

Artists in this exhibition: Max Roth, Harald Reichenbach, Andrew Cooper, Zimoun, Nicolas Berniere, Paco Simon, Chris Kettle

'Moving Mountains' Wandelbar Art International

21 November - 18 December 2015

The exhibition highlights includes Mobile Minaret, an inflatable minaret made by Harald Reichenbach. Andrew Cooper’s installation, tricks the eye in a complex play of line and colour and Zimoun’s acoustic sculptures reverberate a frenetic, yet controlled system of beats.

The exhibitions title is Moving Mountains. A mountain stands still and silent. Come closer and the scale changes - what was once distant becomes close and tangible. As time passes, the stones move, the wind lifts the earth, the water works its way through the rocks, light shifts the shapes, and you start to hear it move. The exhibition takes the motif of the mountain as a point of departure and invites visitors to explore notions of time, scale, stillness and movement. The artists use functional materials and simple techniques to explore the rhythm of the landscape creating a suite of playful,
interactive, contemplative or meditative artworks. Each with distinct conceptual concerns, from the orderly patterns of Modernism to the chaotic forces of life, the works presented are united by the visual metaphor of the mountain

Wandelbar are a pan European artists collective and networking group primarily based in Switzerland. They are a peripatetic organisation, directed by Marc Rome. The majority of these artists are from Switzerland, with others coming from Spain and Wales. They include: Max Roth, Harald Reichenbach, Zimoun, Andrea Dora Wolfskampf, Zaric, Paco Simon, Chris Kettle, Sylvie Zampolini and Andrew Cooper.

Also to be viewed is Gstaadfilm a record of the biennial international film festival of artists films, which is directed by Marc Rome

This Celtic tour began in Limerick, Ireland, and it's final exposition is in Cardiff, Wales.
