West Space Annual Fundraising Exhibition Opening: Thursday 6 December 5 – 9pm Exhibition continues until Sunday 9 December
West Space is pleased to announce the 15th instalment of A4 Art, West Space’s annual fundraising exhibition. West Space has invited a selection of both Australian and internationally based artists to contribute to A4 Art 2007. This end-of-year event provides a rare chance to collect innovative artworks by well-known contemporary artists at a fraction of the price for which they would be available commercially or on the secondary market. A4 Art 2007 provides an accessible and fun opportunity for astute collectors and art fans to begin collecting contemporary art or develop their collections while supporting one of Melbourne’s most innovative arts organisations.
Proceeds from the fundraising event will be allocated towards West Space’s 2008 exhibition program so the non-profit artist-led organisation can continue to foster a supportive and flexible avenue for the presentation and generation of contemporary art and its ensuing dialogue.
The opening night function will be held on Thursday 6 December 5-9pm. The exhibition continues until Sunday 9 December. Opening hours for A4 are Friday 12-6pm, Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.
