Lump is pleased to present Anal Swastika vs. Genital Holocaust by Chicago artists Elijah Burgher and Steve Reinke. Lump will host an opening reception on Friday, February 3rd from 7-10pm during the First Friday Gallery Walk in downtown Raleigh. The exhibition will run from February 3 - 25 and is on view Saturdays from 1 - 5pm and by appointment during the week.

Elijah Burgher is an artist and writer based in Chicago, IL. He has exhibited in solo shows at 2nd Floor Projects in San Francisco, CA and Shane Campbell Gallery in Oak Park, IL, and group shows at Famous Accountants in Brooklyn, NY, Envoy Enterprises and Anna Kustera in New York, and Roots & Culture and Gallery 400 in Chicago. He maintains a hybrid studio wall/magick diary blog at http://ghostvomit.blogspot.com/. He received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004, and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 2000, where he studied Literature.
Steve Reinke is an artist and writer best known for his monologue-based videos. He is associate professor of Art Theory & Practice at Northwestern. A book of his writings, The Shimmering Beast, was recently published. www.myrectumisnotagrave.com
