My practice encapsulates a folk-like aesthetic whilst drawing references from contemporary popular culture. I am dealing with an alien and unfamiliar world, reminiscent of indigenous traditions and the utopian ideals that exist within the current pop industry.

The physicality that film doesn't have is brought to life by coupling with a sculptural object. Using video and sculpture to function together to create another method of viewing the work. The props that I fabricate have as equal importance as the sculptural vessel that contains the film. In adding to, rather than paring down, the complex relationship between object and viewer I forge multiple layers of meaning within the installation, creating my own individual cosmos.
