SHIBUSA-Extracting Beauty - an exhibition of paintings by Pip Dickens and sound compositions by Monty Adkins based on collaboration through Dickens' Leverhulme Trust Award Artist in Residence at University of Huddersfield. Influenced by Japanese cultural themes and research trip to Kyoto in 2011.
A book, of the same name, charting the collaboration and research by Dickens & Adkins and other contributing authors is to be published in 2012.
