As part of the Deptford X festival & fringe awards Annabel Tilley has been commissioned to produce a new drawing installation.
Drawing the likeness of brick consists of a series
of concealed miniature drawings that emulate our
surroundings. These coloured pencil and paper mimics
will be secreted on the brick surface itself, and in such
a way that they are camouflaged and must be carefully sought out.

'Charming, tiny, out-of-the-way, this exhibition is in a former East End crack house. Annabel Tilley's Murder Drawings, an array of little Biro sketches of killers, are impressive, as are the oils of Jarik Jongmann, a former studio assistant of Anselm Kiefer.'
