In Your Shadow... Mixed Media Installation 2010

I am a visual artist originally from Ireland and based in Glasgow since 2001.
In my practice I explore the notion of place and our relationships to the spaces we occupy. I use a broad material vocabulary to redefine the parameters of drawing within my work and investigate the use of line to describe space in both real and illusory terms.

My work to date has encompassed drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, sound and video. The direction in my work originates from investigations into a sense of place and how it is intrinsic to, or even formed by, our relationships with the object world.
