Fumiko Amano was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Known as artist, curator, and Publisher of Atelier Zero event list, she is an active member of the LA art scene.

For the last fifteen years I have been incorporating poetry, architecture, Japanese comics, dreams, sound and textiles into my sonic landscapes. Every city is filled with sounds that combine to form a sonic landscape. I turn these sounds into color.
