“Streams of water, thoughts or emotions that are highly seasonal, mutable, intermittent and unstable in nature”
‘Torrents’ is a body of work of metaphorical significance which is the conglomeration of the artist’s research and concepts over the years. Through the use of meaningful material the artist has developed a personal creative process which involves movement, layering and accumulation. This creates a weathered ancient looking surface full of intricacies and symbology veiled with a transparent liquid wash which speaks of a duality of dynamics and emotions. This work is an homage to nature and expresses sensitivity and respect for its fragility and power.
