Communicating Spaces

What´s inside belongs to the outside and what´s outside belongs to the inside. Communicating spaces are urban actions created by multimedia artist Dacio Bicudo, who works in São Paulo, in places representing situations that actually echoes in all Latin America, with its public politics compromised with the social and economical elites.

Making use of tubes and lines, the artist creates symmetrical shapes, connecting internal and external spaces, putting together the public and the private, the ordinary and the protected, bourgeois places. By doing so, Bicudo proposes a very particular kind of harmony, where everything acquires an equal value.

With a strong and affirmative work, the artist builds a powerful aesthetic utopia.
