In der Malerei die Freiheit einer zweidimensionale Fläche, die befähigt etwas Erfahrbares zu schaffen, eine Harmonie und visuelle Einheit, die für mich Sinn macht und hoffentlich mit anderen geteilt werden kann.
reflektiert die Arbeit die Energie, die gegebene Stimmung oder Erfahrung eines bestimmten Tages, flüchtig allerdings: Briefe, ein Wort, eine Farbe oder ein Ton, ein beliebiger Gedanke, Baumkronen oder Graffiti.
Wer weiß schon, wo die Neigung zum Malen herkommt?
Der Malprozess ist die Notwendigkeit von Versuch und Irrtum, eine Herausforderung die die Auswahl, die ich treffe bestimmt, um zu etwas zu kommen, als Ganzes Sinn macht.

Artist’s statement
Possessing a two-dimensional surface while having the license to create something tangible, a harmony and visual unity that makes sense and is hopefully shared with others.
The work reflects the energy and given mood or experience on a certain day, however fleeting: letters, a word , a colour or tone, a random thought, tops of trees or forms of graffiti.
Who knows where the inclination to paint comes from?
Painting is a process of trial and error, a challenge that directs the choices made while aiming at something that makes sense as a whole.
